Ashland Center is a 21,000sf office building located in the prestigious Historic District of Geneva, IL. Originally constructed as National Tea Grocery store in 1954, it was renovated and expanded to become a community bank in 1969.
In 2014, the building was purchased by Ashland Ventures, LLC and underwent an award-winning major renovation. The rich history of the property has been honored, and is still alive in the building. The interior bank vaults and doors and the teller drive-through window remain. Even the bank vault gate now graces the sustainable landscaped tenants’ common area patio and new contemporary arbor.
Beyond exemplary architectural preservation and design, cutting edge environmental and digital communications technology infrastructure is incorporated throughout the property. As a result, the building has garnered numerous preservation awards as well as sustainability and energy certifications.
Often acknowledged as the most innovative and valued amenity, tenants enjoy managed access to a multi-gigabit fiber optic network. With low-latency Ethernet and Wi-Fi internet services as a baseline service, building management has the capacity to provide optional advanced network/IT support on-site. Ashland Center’s managed network is HVAC and power resilient, and boasts a secure data/network operations center offering Site-to-Site fiber optic LAN via Comcast, VPN, firewall filtering, server co-location, multiple 10 Gigabit fiber connections, and more.
